Dances with Corb

1996

Pencil, ink & transfer on film

A couple dance through le Corbusier’s Villa Savoie – a series of drawn investigations and a critique of the gendered undercurrents of modernism. A subversive choreography danced with the intention of discovering new material and compositional forms.

A further exploration of contemporary dance notation systems as a way of dancing the city; creation through movement and interpretation.
